Matthew Ballard Named “Friend of Education”

Matthew Ballard, Director of Library Services, was recently honored as a “Friend of Education” by the Albion Central School District’s Board of Education. Matthew was recognized for his ongoing work with Tim Archer’s service learning classes, helping the students with research and discussions about local history. Most recently, he has been helping the class research the former Orleans County Alms House. In his role as Orleans County Historian, he also works with students participating in the annual Ghost Walk at Mount Albion Cemetery. Click here to read more about Matthew’s recognition:
